I keep worrying that she might not like me. My big nose will scare her or something.
We leave in just 2 days - we are counting down the hours and double checking everything.

Oh, I remember right before we were handed Ava, I thought she would be so scared that she would bite me and not let go. I imagined a feisty, independent two year old who would scream and cry and push me away. Instead she put her arm around my neck and watched all the other crying screaming babies. No matter what Shuya does in the beginning, she will soon see how loving and trustworthy you are and she'll never want to leave your side (until she's about 2, that is).
Oh No! I thought she might like me at least until she was 12! I'll only have 6 short months...
